JVD

The JVD technology (Jet Vapor Deposition) is the new, breakthrough technology for the metallic coating of steel.

Zinc is used to coat (galvanise) steel in order to prevent corrosion and improve durability.

Galvanising with the JVD technology exhibits multiple advantages over the conventional hot dip galvanising and electro-galvanising methods which are used for automotive and other industrial applications.

Based on 15 years of R&D work performed by CRM Group and ArcelorMittal teams, the JVD technology has recently reached the sufficient maturity for its industrialisation, in close collaboration with ARCEO Engineering.
