Many divers types of waste can be transformed into alternative sources of energy. Within our Bio-Energy activities several waste transformation pilot lines are available at our ETP division. They can produce carbon based 'fuels' from waste streams like wooden panels, wood construction waste and end-of-life furniture. By using this technology, energy intensive sectors can help to reduce CO2 impact as this is a recovered carbon source in stead of a primary energy source.

Our Bio-energy activities are entirely within the scope of our Energy Shift platform since their main objective is to generate both a change in energy usage with alternative fuels and create ways and means to locally source both materials and energy for the industry. We need more then ever before to be aware of optimizing all material valorization, even at the end of its life, even through indirect means.
