Hydraulic separators
Many plants, including industrial steel plats, have to process water to separate light liquids (oil, petrol) and grease from the bulk flow. Light elements are separated from water by means of gravity and/or coalescence.
Testing hydraulic separators aims at both sizing the required equipment (depending on the total flow and content of awkward elements) and characterise its performances. Grease separators are characterised according to current standards (Class I or II)
The tests are performed according to the following standards:
- EN 858 for light liquid separators
- EN 1825 for grease separators
Maximal water flow rate on the existing bench test: 30 l/s
