Your main responsibilities :
- The person will join the team in charge of process development for pre-painted steel lines within the Industrial Solutions Unit, on the CRM Group’s LERO pilot line as a Line Technician.
- The pilot line on which the successful candidate will work is constantly adapting to the various tests and projects to be carried out. Together with the rest of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for test preparation and execution (logistics, handling, sample cutting, etc.). Experience in coil coating and industrial electricity is a plus.
- During tests, the person will initially act as a relay for the technician in charge of the paint application systems on the line. Eventually, he/she will become autonomous and take charge of these elements during tests.
- As part of test preparations and adaptations to the pilot line, the person in question will take charge of actions of a mainly mechanical and electrical nature: he/she will also be responsible for the sizing and maintenance of certain tools, and will monitor associated orders.
- Eventually, the person will be required to manage worksites (drawing up specifications, managing subcontractors, etc.).
- Finally, the successful candidate will need to be able to travel occasionally in Europe to meet suppliers or customers. English will often be the language of communication. Working in tandem with the project managers, you will be required to draft documents such as technical documents, purchase orders, etc. in both French and English.
Your profile
- You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in an industrial environment, or you have a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics.
- You are familiar with IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and CAD tools are a plus.
- You are a team player, flexible, have initiative and the ability to carry out your tasks independently.
- You have a valid driver’s license.
