In 2023, the EU set the scope through the European Green Deal aiming to reduce our net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030, compared to 1990 levels and enabling us to become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050.

To reach those objectives, innovative energy shift solutions such as CO2 reduction, integrated systems linked to renewable energy production, storage facilities, and the introduction of new molecules like hydrogen are crucial to achieve a sustainable and decarbonized industrial future for Europe.

CO2 reduction and waste to energy solutions

As part of our energy shift solutions, we focus on conditioning and treating various types of waste to serve as synthetic fuel. Additionally, we implement industrial CO₂ mitigation and carbon capture usage and storage (CCUS) strategies to lower the carbon footprint of energy-intensive industries.

Hydrogen value chain

Covering the full value chain of the hydrogen ecosystem by offering exceptional measuring tools, insight on material selection for transport and storage as well as production processes like electrolysis of water. With the e-WallonHy network and Belgian Hydrogen Council a true hydrogen valley can be created.

Integrated systems and efficiency

Specific competence was developed around waste heat recovery and smart grids that connect different production and consumption elements. Active elements like phase change materials allow optimal storage and energy efficiency in integrated systems.
