Your main responsibilities :
As part of the A3S unit, you will carry out cross-functional work on tools for loading materials with H2 and their characterisation (desorption and mechanical embrittlement).
Dual role: on the one hand, you will participate in equipment testing; on the other, you will oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of tools in line with customer requirements.
1. Conducting tests
Participate in test campaigns on existing tools (hydrogen loading and measurement of desorption in samples) and on new equipment to be received and commissioned, such as high-pressure hydrogen permeation, ageing in hydrogen-filled autoclaves under pressure and temperature, and tensile-fatigue testing of materials under high-pressure hydrogen. Measurements of the test atmosphere will also need to be carried out.
2. Maintenance and improvement of equipment
Participate in the maintenance of equipment and propose technical improvements to enhance the reliability of the equipment and measurements.
3. Support for pilot-scale deposition tools (6-axis robot + thermal spraying or electrostatic spraying, vacuum deposition), participation in R2R slot die strip coating campaigns, including tool preparation, conducting tests, and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Your profile
- You hold a degree in Electromechanical Engineering or have experience in mechanical engineering
- Ideally, you have an affinity for innovation and the development of research tools
- You are motivated by a technical role that is constantly evolving
- You regularly use IT tools: Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); English is a plus
- You are recognised for your rigour in adhering to procedures and methods
- You are technically curious and open to learning about H₂-material interactions
